An excellent mirror for DIY telescopes
The primary mirror for a Newtonian telescope. This precision spherical mirror is suitable for all manner of optical experiments and DIY projects, such as a small Newtonian reflector telescope.
The mirror body is made of tempered float glass, whilst the reflective coating consists of aluminium with a vapour-deposited protective layer of quartz. This concave mirror is also used as the primary mirror in our Newton Telescope Kit.
